Every year on February 18th, we celebrate the National Battery Day, to celebrate the batteries that power our daily lives. As we approach National Battery day, it’s important to take some time to appreciate the battery technologies that help to shape the world, but also to remind ourselves of our responsibilities to properly dispose of them at their end of life.

DROP OFF: The Final Step of Safe Battery Recycling

It’s important not to store used batteries in your home for too long, where they can become corroded. Whether you use a lot of batteries or just a few, we recommend dropping them off at least every three months to prevent corrosion and battery leakage.

COLLECT: Kickstart Your Battery Recycling Journey

One of the many benefits of recycling your batteries is that it’s easy to do it over an extended period of time. By simply collecting and storing your used batteries in a safe and convenient manner, you can then easily drop them off when and where it’s most convenient for you.
