Get ready, PEI! The CFCY Recycle Your Batteries, Canada! Summer Cruiser is hitting the road again for its second exciting year! From June 1 to September 1, the Cruiser will be making stops at local events, both big and small, all across the island. Visit the Cruiser to learn about battery recycling, pick up a home collection cube, and stand a chance to win great prizes!

Special Battery Drop-Off Events

Location: Silver Fox Entertainment Centre, 110 Water St, Summerside
Silver Fox Yacht Club hosts Chase the Ace draw at 4:00 PM with live entertainment by the beautiful waterfront.
Admission is $5 at the door. All proceeds go towards youth curling and yachting.

This summer, the Close to the Ground concert series, returns to Hillcrest United Church, featuring different musical guests each Thursday for a night of Prince Edward Island Roots music and storytelling.
On August 1, Fiddlers’ Sons welcome Juno award-nominated musician, Joey Kitson from the Celtic band Rawlins Cross along with his talented son Julian!

The Gold Cup Parade, returns on August 16, featuring a vibrant display of floats, marching bands, antique cars, and huge cold air-filled balloons, transforming the streets of Charlottetown into a kaleidoscope of colors.
