October 2025 was Circular Economy Month, with Canadians across the country taking action to reduce waste, conserve resources, and support a more sustainable future. Throughout the month, thousands of participants dropped off their used batteries for recycling and entered for a chance to win an unforgettable experience of a meet-and-greet with Christine Sinclair, and other great prizes.
In partnership with our Recycle Your Batteries, Canada! program ambassador, Canadian soccer legend Christine Sinclair, the 2025 Circular Economy Contest inspired Canadians from coast to coast to recycle their batteries and play an active role in building a stronger circular economy.
We were thrilled to see such strong participation throughout Circular Economy Month. Every battery dropped off helps protect our environment and supports a cleaner, greener future for all.
