It’s time to recycle your used batteries! Take a photo of your collected batteries and enter our contest for a chance to win great prizes. Contest runs from February 18 – April 18, 2026.
ENJEU Battery Recycling Competition – 10th Edition
ENvironnement JEUnesse continues to work with us to organize an annual battery collection competition in Quebec educational establishments, such as schools, CEGEPs (general and vocational colleges) and colleges. The objective of this initiative is to raise awareness among young people of the importance of recycling batteries for the preservation of the environment.
The main goal of the competition is to collect as many batteries as possible throughout the year. The establishments that manage to collect the greatest number of batteries will be awarded scholarships in different categories. In total, 33 scholarships totaling $18,950 will be distributed.

Earth Rangers + Recycle Your Batteries, Canada! = Battery Blitz School Mission
Recycle Your Batteries, Canada! has been sponsoring the Earth Rangers Battery Blitz School Mission in Canada for 10 years. The Battery Blitz educates students about the importance of battery recycling, while providing a fun, engaging way for youth to get involved and help protect the environment.
For a month, students collect their used batteries at home and drop them off in the Recycle Your Batteries, Canada! collection boxes at school. Schools compete in their own province for a chance to win great cash prizes.
